Photo Gallery - Summer Research Program

Villanova offers its undergraduates in physics the opportunity to gain valuable experience in experimental physics. In the summer of 2003 Kevin Wilson (left), Corinne Fager (middle), and Rob Horn (Right) joined Dr. Georgia Papaefthymiou-Davis in her laboratory as assistants. Throughout the summer they received excellent hands-on experience in Mössbauer Spectroscopy.

Corinne Fager will be a junior at Villanova during the 2003-2004 school year. She is physics major who is a member of the Society of Physics Students and is interested in many possible fields such as meteorology but is currently undecided about future plans.

Rob Horn will be a junior at Villanova during the 2003-2004 school year. He is a physics major who hopes to attend medical school, if any will actually accept him that is. Currently Rob is the vice president of the Villanova Physics club as well as a member of the Society of Physics Students.

Kevin Wilson is in the Naval ROTC at Villanova and will be a junior during the 2003-2004 school year. He is the current president of the Villanova Physics club as well as a member of the Society of Physics Students. He plans on attending medical school.
