1. Turing, writing in 1950, predicated that "at the end of the century the use of words and general educated opinion will have altered so much that one will be able to speak of machines thinking without expecting to be contradicted." Do you think we are, today, close to achieving this goal? Why or why not?
2.In the article, Turing proposes an "imitation game" to give a clear criterion for artificial intelligence. How does it work? Do you think it is indeed a good test for artificial intelligence?
